Commencing with an introduction by the volume's editor, Gionathan Lo Mascolo, the following discussion will delve into key aspects, including characteristics, strategies, relevance, and potential dangers associated with the Christian Right in Europe.

Professor Andras Bozoki, from the Department of Political Science at the Central European University, along with Dr. Armin Langer, Assistant Professor of European Studies at the University of Florida, both co-authors of the chapter on Hungary, as well as Professor Zsolt Enyedi of the Central European University, will contribute to the discourse, focusing on the influence of Christian Right movements and narratives in Hungary and the role of this phenomenon on Hungarian politics. The event will further explore the Austrian case-study, featuring two of the three co-writers: Dr. phil Katharina Limacher, Programme Manager of the Vienna Doctoral School of Theology and Research on Religion at the University of Vienna, and Assistant Professor Dr. Astrid Mattes-Zippenfenig from the University of Vienna. Their insights promise a detailed examination of Christian Right movements within the Austrian context.

Concluding the event, a Q&A session will provide the audience with the opportunity to engage directly with the various speakers, fostering a more interactive and enriching discussion. This comprehensive exploration of "The Christian Right in Europe" aims to deepen understanding and encourage critical analysis of the subject matter.
