The lecture will examine the situation of writing, the conditions of writing and the states that make writing possible. Much has been written about how carefully we must choose words, word order, sentence length and rhythm if we want others to understand what we write, but I found fewer guidelines on the conditions in which writing becomes possible. I am not just thinking of spiritual or mental states, but also of physical states, which for me are difficult to separate anyway. Since the purpose of writing, or to put it a little exaggeratedly, the purpose of all writing is to change the world, I think it is essential to look at the question of what physical states and what postures help us to get to the writing, or to the state in which words can become our words.
