This is a participatory workshop about the still-developing collaborative film project between media artist Rayna Teneva and anthropologist Elana Resnick. We will show footage and host discussions about the film-in-process, which centers on the still-unfinished Belene Nuclear Power Plant in Northern Bulgaria on the Danube River and its relationship to river life, women's labor, and questions of what a non-nuclear future might look like.
