CEU participates with 28 stations at Long Night of Research

This event takes place on-site at CEU Campus in Vienna.
We are pleased to open our doors in Vienna for the second time on May 24th at our Campus in Vienna and to offer fascinating insights into the world of science.
This time, CEU will operate 28 (!) different stations, where visitors can explore CEU’s many fields of research, like Environmental Sciences, History, Data Science or Philosophy. Our faculty members will offer insights into their fields in a variety of formats, like lectures, hands-on experiments, talks and even one performance. Participants can discover visualizations of big data analysis and see behind the methodologies of behavioral analysis. Some of the stations on cognitive sciences and developmental research are suitable even for the youngest, starting from age 4.

About the Long Night of Research:
The Long Night of Research is Austria's largest event on science, research and innovation and is aimed at all age groups. On 24 May 2024, knowledge will once again become an experience: from 17:00 to 23:00, a diverse program will be offered at around 270 locations and with over 2,800 program points across Austria and free admission to immerse yourself in the world of science and experience innovation up close.
Visitors can embark on a journey through a wide range of research disciplines and topics as part of exhibitions, guided tours, hands-on stations, workshops, experiments and other formats and discover new and unexpected things in the process.
