Many of the systems around us were shaped in the nineteenth century and are organized around divisive and competitive principles. This interactive panel discussion will argue that the challenges of the next phase of the 21st century require the recalibration of many such systems, beginning with education, so they encourage and develop collaboration and the application of collective intelligence. The speakers will share insights from their own work around collaborative leadership, collaboration between universities, across generations and within networks and communities of practice. Altogether, this panel will offer actionable insights for educators to build and support collaborative practice.

Andreas Corcoran, Deputy Secretary General of the International Association of Universities
